The Department Space and Astronautical Science in SOKENDAI will hold a two-days introductory program for the students who wish to enroll the department in the future.
The program consists of lectures and laboratory / facility visits.
The lectures will be given by faculty members of the department. They will talk about basic knowledge as well as cutting-edge topics in their specialized fields for undergraduate students.
The participants will visit laboratories and facilities in the campus to see the research environment at ISAS. Also, there will be an occasion to talk with students who are currently studying at ISAS.
The program is for domestic students, and the lectures and discussions will be mainly in Japanese.

【 Location 】 Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, JAXA (Sagamihara Campus) Traffic access
【 Expected participants 】 Those who consider to study at the Department of Space and Astronautical Science of SOKENDAI in future. We assume undergraduate students of 1st to 3rd year, but we do not exclude other persons. The lectures and discussions will be mainly in Japanese with some supports in English.
【Time table and programs】The program consists of lectures and visits of interested research groups / laboratory. Due to COVID-19 issues the details of the program will be announced later.

※Those who wish to attend the program at ISAS Sagamihara Campus will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis and will be closed when the capacity reached.
In addition, we have a limited amount of fund to support on-site participants for their traveling expenses and transportation expenses (we do not pay per diem). If you wish, please complete the application from the form by Monday, August 17, 12:00 JST.
